(PTC) have advised us. Magdeburg-based pure-systems is the world&#8217;s leading provider of engineering solutions for product line and variant management.<\/p>\n<p>Headquartered in Boston, USA, PTC helps complex industrial manufacturers solve fundamental problems in product development by weaving a digital thread through engineering, manufacturing and service. The acquisition of pure-systems is intended to strengthen PTC&#8217;s leading position in the fast-growing market for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2001, pure-systems offers its customers worldwide a holistic platform that can be integrated with all relevant engineering tools across the entire development lifecycle. It enables engineers and developers to efficiently manage the growing complexity of their product platforms. The deep integration with configuration management supports the parallel development of product line assets and variant-specific assets, shortens the time-to-market for new variants and increases the reusability of engineering assets while ensuring compliance, quality and sustainability.
