Pava Partners exclusively advised the shareholders of GRK-Holding AG, a project developer and building promoter located in Leipzig, on the sale of a majority stake to Fund III of ActivumSG Capital Management Ltd., a real estate fund manager investing throughout Europe. For Pava Partners this marks the second successful transaction in the sector “Real Estate” in only a few days after advising Tax Credit Group in its sale to CBRE Group.

Pava Partners managed the entire transaction process and advised the founder and principal shareholder of GRK-Holding during all phases of the transaction. A Leipzig team of CMS Hasche Sigle acted as legal counsel throughout the process as well as during negotiations. On the buyer side, Noerr LLP acted as legal advisor.

Together with the already purchased formart GmbH & Co. KG, the aim is to establish a common nationwide leading project development group in the residential sector. The complementary expertise of formart and GRK in the fields of acquisition, sales and construction management are an ideal basis for growing at an above-average rate, particularly in strong metropolitan regions and big cities during the upcoming years.

Steffen Göpel, founder and shareholder of GRK-Holding, will be actively involved in the next development stage and will hold an equity investment.

All parties have agreed not to disclose further details regarding the transaction.
