Transaction

ARCUS Capital AG („ARCUS“) has acquired the majority shareholding of 65 % of KAMA GmbH („KAMA“) from Wachstumsfond Mittelstand GmbH & Co. KG („WMS“) and the management. Both Managing Directors, will retain 35 % of the shareholding.

Pava Partners exclusively advised all shareholders of KAMA in the transaction. Both parties agreed not to disclose any transaction details.

KAMA is located in Dresden, Germany and has 110 employees. The company develops and produces high-end machines in the area of printing post-press and print finishing and is specialised on small and medium-size production runs.

KAMA offers complete workflow solutions and is excellently positioned in the field of digital printing for the global commercial printing and packaging markets. The company generates over 60% of its turnover outside of Europe.

The new owners were particularly interested in KAMA’s growth opportunities in the packaging market. The upcoming digital printing technology allows the cost-effective manufacturing of small and individualized volumes. This requires a tailored workflow, for which KAMA offers unique integrated solutions.
