Körber, the international technology group, has invested in the course of the current series B financing into the Berlin-based technology start-up company BigRep.

Pava Partners acted as the exclusive advisor to the Körber Group on the transaction.

At Körber, all signs point towards growth. The strategic investments of the group are focused on future technologies and markets. Michael Horn, Member of the Group Executive Board of Körber AG, emphasized that Körber’s investment in BigRep would further intensify their potential for additive production and its use for further customer applications within their business areas.

For BigRep, the manufacturer of the world’s largest 3-D printers in the market and supplier of additive manufacturing systems, Körber as a new shareholder is an important strategic step. René Gurka, CEO of BigRep, stressed that BigRep with Körber as a shareholder could further invest in its product development, the expansion of its global footprint and its sales force. Furthermore, Körber is a very experienced technology company that supports the company not only financially, but especially in the field of engineering.
