EWERK, a Leipzig-based full-service IT service provider, has a new majority shareholder in NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (“NORD Holding”). The founders and managing directors Hendrik Schubert and Dr. Erik Wende remain in their positions and will retain a significant share in the company. This creates conditions for continuing the current growth trajectory as a provider of innovative solutions with a focus on regulated end customers. Pava Partners exclusively advised the company during the process. The transaction is still subject to approval by antitrust authorities.

“High process excellence, a living culture of innovation and the founders’ entrepreneurial vision have inspired us. We see great potential in the combining of the industry expertise of Mr. Schubert and Dr. Wende with NORD Holding’s experience setting up platforms. We are delighted to be able to support the EWERK team on its growth path”, says Andreas Bösenberg, Managing Director of NORD Holding.

Hendrik Schubert, Managing Partner of EWERK: “Following the wish of our co-founder Frank Richter to sell his shares, we are pleased to have gained a long-term oriented and medium-sized partner for EWERK in NORD Holding, who will accompany and support the initiated growth strategy”.
