Pava Partners is pleased to announce that we advised the shareholders of pure-systems GmbH (pure-systems) on the sale to PTC Inc. (PTC). pure-systems, based in Magdeburg, Germany, is the world’s leading provider of engineering solutions for product line and variant management.
Headquartered in Boston, USA, PTC helps complex industrial manufacturers solve fundamental product development problems by weaving a digital thread through engineering, manufacturing, and service. The addition of pure-systems is expected to strengthen PTC’s leading position in the fast-growing application lifecycle management (ALM) market.
Founded in 2001, pure-systems offers its customers worldwide a holistic platform that can be integrated with all relevant engineering tools across the entire development lifecycle. It enables engineers and developers to efficiently manage the growing complexity of their product platforms. Deep integration with configuration management supports parallel development of product line assets and variant-specific assets, allows shortening time-to-market for new variants and increasing reusability of engineering assets while ensuring compliance, quality, and sustainability. Customers of pure-systems are companies in the automotive, aerospace, defense, rail & transportation and other sectors.
