Pava Partners advised the shareholders of HBSN Group (“HBSN”), the leading healthcare IT specialist for holistic digitalization in the German healthcare sector, on the transaction to ]init[ Aktiengesellschaft für digitale Kommunikation (“]init[”). ]init[,a leading provider of digitization in the public sector and regulated industries, is a portfolio company of EMERAM and Rivean Capital.

With this transaction, HBSN including xitee, a group company of HBSN and a specialized IT service provider with expertise and customers in highly regulated industries, will become part of the ]init[-Group. The acquisition of the healthcare IT specialist and its unique positioning in the German healthcare market will strategically strengthen ]init[. At the same time, HBSN will be supported in several areas of development by ]init[ as a strategic partner and new owner. Both parties consider the range of services and customer orientation to be complementary and have clear ideas on how to pursue joint development potential.
