Dr. Andras Gosztonyi brings over 20 years of international experience in investment and operations within the tech sector. He understands the challenges faced by fast-growing companies as well as the goals and value-creation levers investors rely on. For more than ten years, he has been supporting tech scale-ups as an independent Growth & Capital Advisor across a range of industries – from software and deep tech to industrial technology. In this role, he leverages his international network among others in the GCC and the Nordics.

As CFO of an energy management startup, he played a key role in driving growth: expanding into international markets with a focus on the MENA region and Asia, guiding the IPO process, and managing multiple funding rounds and acquisitions. As a former portfolio manager at bmp Ventures AG and restructuring and transaction consultant at Roland Berger, he is familiar with the strategic drivers for growth and value creation in companies.

Dr. Andras Gosztonyi holds a diploma and a Ph.D. in Economic Geography from Freie Universität Berlin, as well as a master’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada. He also completed a Professional Business Diploma at the University of California, Berkeley.

In his private life, he enjoys traveling, hiking, jogging, reading, and cooking – preferably with friends and family.

His focus is on enabling companies to secure sufficient growth capital and to guide them toward a strategically sound exit at the right time. At the core of his work are best-practice methodologies and the interests of entrepreneurs, investors, and strategic buyers.
