Marco Schunder is a partner at Pava. Since 2000, he has advised companies, private equity funds and infrastructure investors on or led national and international acquisition financings, refinancings, recapitalizations and restructurings. Previously, Marco Schunder led Macquarie Capital's Debt Advisory practice for the German-speaking region in Frankfurt am Main. Prior to that, he was a director in the leveraged finance department of Société Générale in Frankfurt am Main and New York. He started his professional career in corporate finance at BHF-Bank.

Marco Schunder holds a degree in business administration and studied at the University of Münster. Prior to that, he completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Deutsche Bank AG.

Marco Schunder is fascinated by being able to accompany complex transactions in different sectors. His passion is music, both active and passive, and is passionate about football.
