Senior Industry Advisor

Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Müller is the founder of several software and deep tech companies and serves as an advisor and investor in the technology industry. He held various senior leadership positions at SAP for more than ten years, including Head of all SAP Innovation Centers, Managing Director of SAP Labs Berlin, and Chief Innovation Officer.

From 2019 until September 2024, he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and as a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, where he was responsible for the company’s technological direction and innovation strategy.

Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Müller earned a Diplom in Business Informatics from Georg-August-University of Göttingen. He subsequently completed a doctorate in Computer Science at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute.

Jürgen has been driven from an early age by the idea of using technology in ways that benefit people and organizations. He focuses intensively on how artificial intelligence impacts software development and how autonomous agents can be deployed within enterprises. In his private life, Jürgen has a passion for almost all ball sports as well as triathlon. When he is not coding or training, he enjoys spending time with family and/or friends – often over challenging board games.
